Regulars were able to mingle with the stars in the lounge after their late-night shows. In its time, the Sands was located next door to the <a title=\"Desert inn\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Desert_Inn\">Desert Inn<\/a>.
